『本會簡介』

 

華人運動員協會於1993年成立

華人運動員協會 - 是一個非牟利團體，於1993年成立(英文簡稱CSRA) 委員大部份都是前香港著名運動員， 及前香港運動紀錄保持者。他們熱衷運動， 經常舉辦多元化活動及研討會交流意見，致力推廣健康運動，貢獻香港體壇，回饋社會。更有組織地推動本港體育運動的發展，令年青新一代在健康愉快環境中學習及成長。本會現為香港業餘田徑總會之屬會會員 。

過往我們舉辦過多項運動及跑步活動，訓練包括︰『小學田徑隊訓練』、『中學田徑隊訓練』、『中學越野隊訓練』、『運動小全盒2002』、『明日之星田徑訓練班』、『小飛人田徑系列』等等。

除運動課程外， 我們亦成功舉辦多次大型運動比賽，如一年一度的全港小學生田徑比賽，7月1日的回歸跑及10月1日的國慶跑等等。2005年本會更與香港海洋公園 及 公益金 攜手合作把賽跑比賽、娛樂 及慈善 習於一身。讓廣大市民積極參與健康體育運動。


華人運動員協會關注學員德、智、體、群、美的全面教育，除經常與家長會面了解學員各方面的發展外，亦關注學員在校內的學術成績。本會更向學校推薦學員，承蒙社區與教育機構對本會之鼎力支持，得以讓運動成績優異、品德良好之學員有機會於良好的學習環境，繼續發揮所長。


此外，2002年開始更開辦長跑訓練班，為愈趨普及的長跑運動提供培訓機會。藉此讓會員互相切磋及交流技術。本會會員也積極參與各項大型賽事，如澳門馬拉松賽，渣打香港馬拉松及多項海外國際賽事等。本會更有運動員更多次代表香港參加國際性賽事，將本地運動提升至國際水平。


Introduction

The Chinese Sports & Recreations Association 華人運動員協會 (CSRA), is one of the Hong Kong non-profit organizations running various sports programs and courses. Since 1983, we have been focusing on organizing community activities and sports events in the Territory, emphasized on promoting sports as well as delivering the message of 'healthy life' among children and youngsters.


CSRA concerns the all-round development of members by regularly meeting their parents and monitoring academic performance and conduct in their school. We recommends and support from the community and education institutes allows our member further develop their potentials in an ideal learning environment.


CSRA has been an energetic contributor to the Hong Kong Sports and Running scene for 10 years. Each year, CSRA organizes popular sports and distance running races to the public including a Primary Super Kids Run in April, two Mini Cross Country races in 1st July and 1st October. Other than being an organizer in promoting distance running, CSRA also provides athletic training for primary students, distance-running training program and a number of training courses for interested members and runners from all walks of life. Over the past years, our members and students have actively participated in public races, such as Macau Marathon, Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon and various Overseas Competitions.
Since it establishment, CSRA has successfully nurtured athletic star to represent Hong Kong in overseas events, expanding local sports development to international levels.
